♦ This is one of traditional medicine used by most of the Indians thus the extracts of this Indian Birthwort are mainly given to the women in post-delivery, not only that but also it plays a major role in cures the snakebites.
♦ The flowers of this plant are said to resemble a snake or a curved foetus.
♦ The common Hindi name for this plant is Ishwar mul.
♦ The name suggests that it has the efficiency of neutralizing snake venom.
♦ To reduce fever, diarrhea, and inflammation, the powder should be mixed with about 5 ml of coffee three times a day.
♦ Bronchial asthma: The powder one gram is advised for relieving vata diseases, bronchial asthma and cough.
♦ Indigestion: For relieving disorders related to indigestion, the powder is suggested. Around 5 grams should be consumed for better results.
