Description
♦ Devatharu is an effective herb that contains many medicinal properties and health benefits. The powdered form of this herb is used in the treatment of various diseases.
♦ Found at an altitude of 1200-3000 meters above sea level. It grows up to 40-50 m tall with horizondal branches and its leaves are 2.5-5 cms long. The seeds grow up to 1.5 cm long in a triangular shape.
♦ The seed oil has a rich antiseptic property which is used in treating skin diseases, wounds, ulcers, and also for headache, fever, piles. It is a great diaphoretic, diuretic, and insecticide.

How to Consume Devatharu Internally
♦ Morning Take five gms of powder with 100 ml of water and boil them for some minutes. After the water getting warm, filter them, and drink before food. Repeat this same for Evening after dinner.
How to Consume Devatharu Externally
♦ Mix the devadaru paste with mustard oil and apply that in the affected area. It helps to treat filarial, inflammation, and glandular diseases.
♦ Mix the paste of devadaru with Guggulu and turmeric and apply that on indolent swellings. It is an alternative remedy to treat leprosy and chronic skin disorders. It is also applied to the ulcers.
